Parents in School
At Elm Hall, our families form a central part of the Elm Hall community and are regularly invited into school to join us for assemblies and lunches.
Every Friday we hold a Celebration Assembly at 9.00 am, and parents of children receiving Class Awards or Reading Millionaire Awards that week are invited into assembly to join us.
In addition, each class invites parents to join them for lunch once a term. The class vote to choose the menu for that day and children and parents are served their meals by staff. Parents are then invited into the classroom to look at the children's books and displays.
We are lucky to have several parent helpers to listen to our children read. All parent helpers must sign a confidentiality agreement and are also subject to a DBS check. If you are interested in becoming a parent helper, please contact the school office.
